¡¡¡¡ Felíz Cumple Simon Gallup !!!!
¡¡¡¡Felíces 50 años Simon Gallup!!!!
Simon Johnathon Gallup nació en Duxhurst, Surrey, Inglaterra, el 01 de junio de 1960, mítico bajista de The Cure, luego de reemplazar a Michael Dempsey.
Desde 1976 al 1979 fue bajista de la banda Lockjaw, y en 1979 también fue bajista de "The Magazine Spies". Y a finales de ese año ingresó a The Cure, banda con la que seguiría hast finales de 1982 en donde se iría "despedido". Luego formaría "Fools Dance" y regresaría a The Cure en 1985 y se quedaría en la banda hasta la actualidad.

De más está agregar la importancia de Simon en el sonido de The Cure, el año pasado dije que sin ser un miembro original de la banda su importancia lo hace un miembro importantísimo tanto como Robert Smith, lo cierto es que el timbre de su bajo se transformó en una característica de la banda, y sonoridades como la de Simon hicieron que el bajo en la década de los 80's se transformase en un sello en la música oscura de esos años.
